Frederick is the new owner of the properties that Hope’s parents used to run. He says he has only been in residence for a few months and has been focusing on sorting out the house, which had been empty for quite some time.

A slightly overweight half-elf – not that you’d necessarily see it from the tailoring of his clothing – Frederick declined to let Hope explore the rest of the grounds. As he put it: “What would you say if someone walked up to your door unannounced and asked to poke around?”

He seemed genuine enough, but it may well be that the DDC will have to find some way around him to investigate Hope’s past.
