Gantic works in the archives of Morgrave University dealing with dry tomes and scrolls. A dwarf whose family has lived in Sharn for generations, she lives in the Cogs in a small studio above a printer’s workshop. She is well known to the local gangs, having known many of their members when they were still children. Being on largely good terms with many of their parents gives her a certain leverage – and her willingness to share baked treats is quietly appreciated if rarely mentioned.
Gantic enjoys the sense of the hunt when finding and retrieving obscure items from the archives. Her specialism is in the conservation and management of trading records and tax returns – a gentle humour and sharp set of observational skills go a long way to putting these documents in context for researchers.
